Kathmandu. The third annual general meeting of Stuxcarts Securities (Stock Broker-86) has been concluded.
The first session of the company was successfully held on 17th Magh 2082 under the chairmanship of President Subash Neupane under the special hospitality of Thaneshwor Basyal and Milan Thapa.
The AGM approved the Annual Report, Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements of the Company for the fiscal year 2081÷082. The meeting also endorsed a proposal regarding the appointment of auditor and determination of remuneration for the coming fiscal year.
According to the main agenda of the meeting, the election of the Board of Directors of the company has been conducted in a fair and transparent manner in accordance with the Companies Act, 2063 BS and the prevailing rules, directives and code of conduct of the Securities Board of Nepal under the direct supervision of the Returning Officer. As a result of the election, the following persons have been elected to the Board of Directors for the next term. They are Ramesh Prasad Tiwari, Ram Krishna Chaulagain and Bikash Basyal.
The elected directors took the oath of office and secrecy before the election officer. The shareholders of the meeting expressed satisfaction over the performance of the company so far and presented suggestions to improve the quality of service, risk management, strengthen corporate governance and enhance confidence in the capital market.
The newly elected Board members expressed their commitment to carry out their duties in a fair, transparent and goodwill manner by maintaining fair, transparent and goodwill and sustainable business practices in coordination with the relevant regulatory bodies.
Rajendra Kumar Sharma, who presided over the second session with a vote of thanks, formally concluded the meeting.
