Kathmandu. Now, the old provision of pasting postage stamps in the documents related to insurance service has been removed. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has issued a circular to all insurance companies, brokers and intermediaries directing them to remove such provision.

According to the NRA, the decision of the Council of Ministers on December 29 last year had removed the provision of using postage stamps as income stamps to authenticate the documents except those made mandatory by law. All bodies concerned have been urged to make necessary arrangements to implement the decision.
