Kathmandu. On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the stock market fell sharply. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 26.05 points. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 0.96 percent. Today, the sensitive index has decreased by 4.02 points. Similarly, the float index decreased by 1.93 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 1.57 points.

On Monday, the trading volume also fell along with the stock market. Shares worth Rs 10.77 billion were traded in the market today, compared to Rs 11.65 billion on Sunday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of one sub-group have increased while the indices of 11 sub-groups have fallen. Today, the index of the trade sub-group has increased slightly.

Today, the share price of Khani Khola Hydropower Company has increased by 9.97 percent. Today, the share price of Reedy Hydropower is up more than 9 percent, while the share price of Liberty Energy is up about 8 percent. Shares of Maya Khola Hydropower Company Ltd fell by 5.40 percent on the day.

Reedy Hydropower is in the top position on the basis of turnover on the day. The company’s shares worth Rs 77.19 crore were traded on the day. Today, shares worth more than Rs 540 million were traded by SY Panel Nepal, while the transaction amount of Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company has crossed Rs 480 million.
