Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has pledged to carry out development works in Sarlahi constituency-4 based on the suggestions of experts.

During his door-to-door campaign with voters at different places in his constituency, he said he would work to address the needs of the local people based on the suggestions of the experts.

During a meeting with voters of Ward No. 4 of Basbariya Rural Municipality of Barahathawa Municipality here today, he said that he would carry out works to make his constituency excellent. “Out of the 32 constituencies in Madhes, Sarlahi 4 will be made excellent not only in terms of physical development but also in terms of education and health within the next five years,” he said. “I will work on the suggestions and plans of the experts regarding the development works to be carried out in the next five years,” Thapa said.

Stating that the NC has both enthusiasm and experience to run the country, he urged the party to give responsibility not only to Sarlahi but also to the leadership of the country. “The ‘Project Government’ is ready to do what if given the opportunity to lead the country. We have carried out a detailed study and research on the works to be carried out in the next five years after becoming the prime minister. Voters across the country have the right to entrust them with the responsibility of implementing it,” he said.
