Kathmandu.  Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. As per the exchange rate, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 144.78 and Rs 145.38.

Similarly, the buying rate of European Euro 1 was set at Rs 170.57 and the selling rate of Euro 1 was set at Rs 171.28, while the selling rate of UK Pound Sterling was set at Rs 195.08 and the selling rate of Swiss Franc 1 was set at Rs 187.04 and Rs 187.82.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 102.08 paise and the selling rate of 1 Australian dollar has been fixed at 102.08 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 105.78 rupees and 106.21 paise.

The selling rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.36 and Rs 9.40, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 20.96 and Rs 21.04.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.64 and the selling rate is Rs 4.66, the UAE Dirham is Rs 39.42 and the selling rate is Rs 39.58, the Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 37.04 and the selling rate is Rs 37.20. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 15.98 and selling rate of Rs 16.04 and Danish kroner 1 at Rs 22.83 and Rs 22.92.

The selling rate of one of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is Rs 18.53 and the selling rate is Rs 18.60, the selling rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is Rs 473.99 and the selling rate is Rs 475.95. Similarly, the selling rate of Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 160.15 respectively.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
