Kathmandu. The stock market has improved by double digits. The index, which measures the market, increased by 10.30 points to sit at 2,648.90 points.

A total of 1,04,56,980 units of shares of 333 companies worth Rs 4.45 billion were traded. The price of shares of 90 companies decreased while the prices of 157 companies increased.

The sub-indices of the finance group and the trading group decreased while the sub-indices of the rest of the sub-indices increased. Share prices of Salapa Development Bank and Reliance Spinning Mills Ltd have hit the positive circuit in the trading session.

Ankhukhola Hydropower Company is in the first position on the basis of transaction amount. The company’s shares worth Rs 28,69,19,275 were traded. Ngadi Group Power and SY Panel are in the second and third positions in the transaction.
