Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged the prime ministerial candidates to hold an open discussion on the occasion of the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives.
Celebrating Holi at an open forum in Kathmandu on February 1, Sharma called for dialogue with the prime ministerial candidates. Addressing an election gathering of the Nepali Congress in Pokhara on Friday, he said, “Let us play Holi in an open platform on the day of Holi and sit openly with the prime ministerial candidates.” On that day, Holi can be played and discussed. ”
He also wants to discuss the question of the country not having a stable government for 75 years. Sharma says, “Let’s discuss why the country could not be formed. If you are ready to allow the first party to form the government, then if you do not get a majority, then make arrangements to add members from the proportional representation. The Nepali Congress is ready to sit in the opposition by signing the agreement if it is the second party. ”
Sharma also urged the public to pay attention on whether corruption has decreased in the next five years and how the work has been carried out in the country. “NC wants to be a party of employees, workers and contractors. The Congress is not in favour of building the country by tying anyone. ”
