Kathmandu. The stock market rose in the pre-open session on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. In the pre-open session, the NEPSE index increased by 4.38 points to close at 2,659.31 points. The sensitive index rose 1.56 points in the session.
A total of 1,54,075 units of shares worth Rs 11,65,78,401.60 were traded in 114 transactions of 69 companies during the day. The price of 24 companies has increased while the price of 39 companies has decreased. The prices of the remaining 6 companies remained stable in the session.
