Kathmandu. A total of 39.95 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Myagdi district till 2:15 pm. According to the District Election Office, a total of 34,521 votes have been cast so far. Of them, 18,416 are female, 16,104 are male and one third gender are eligible to cast their ballots.
Voting is taking place peacefully in various polling centres of the district since this morning. The election office expects voter participation to increase for the rest of the season.
