Kathmandu. There has been a slight improvement in the stock market. The index, which measures the market, rose 4.45 points to sit at 2,824.90 points.

A total of 3,95,49,333 units of shares of 350 companies were traded worth Rs 14.32 billion.

The prices of 124 companies increased while the prices of 130 companies declined. The sub-indices of life insurance and investment hotel groups decreased while the sub-indices of other groups increased.

The investors of Solu Hydro, Salpa Bikas Bank, Hotel Forest Inn, Green Life Hydropower and Abhiyan Laghubitta earned today while the investors of Daramkhola Hydro, Khanikhola Hydro and Three Star Hydro suffered a loss.
