Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Monday. On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 26.07 points to close at 2,798.83 points. Today, the sensitive index has decreased by 6.38 points, while the float index has decreased by 2.07 points and the sensitive float index has decreased by 2.10 points.
Today, the trading volume has also decreased along with the stock market. Shares worth Rs 14.32 billion were traded in the market on the previous trading day, which was Rs 11.97 billion today.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 1 sub-groups have increased while the indices of 12 sub-groups have fallen. On this day, the indices of the production and processing sub-group increased marginally.
Share prices of 4 companies traded at positive circuit levels today. Shares of Salapa Development Bank, Reliance Spinning Mills, Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company and Solu Hydropower were traded in the positive circuit level today.
Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Ltd topped the list on the basis of turnover today. Shares worth Rs 68.77 crore were traded today. Similarly, shares of National Hydropower Ltd stood at Rs 660 million while Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Ltd traded at Rs 415 million.
