. About 200 US soldiers have been wounded since the United States and Israel launched a massive attack on Iran on February 28.
Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for the U.S. Army’s Central Command, said on Monday.
Hawkins said the wounded were in Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Ten of them were seriously injured and more than 180 others have returned to duty.
A U.S. KC-135 fuel supply plane crashed in western Iraq. With this accident, the death toll in the US military has reached 13.
The incident underscores the heightened regional tensions and humanitarian challenges caused by the U.S.-Israeli aggression.
