Kathmandu. Everest Bank is set to issue debentures worth Rs 3 billion. Laxmi Sunrise Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the company.

The bank is going to issue “Everest Bank Limited Debenture 2088”. The bank is issuing 30 lakh units of debenture at a face value of Rs 1,000 per unit.

Out of this, 40 percent i.e. 1.2 million units worth Rs 1.20 billion will be sold to the general public and the remaining 60 percent will be sold to 1.8 million units individually. The debenture will pay interest at the rate of 6.25% per annum for a period of 6÷6 months.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Sudesh Khaling, CEO of Everest Bank and Mr. Vijay Lal Shrestha, CEO of Laxmi Sunrise Capital.
