Kathmandu. Dinesh Dangol, head of corporate and project finance department of Prabhu Bank, has been arrested.
According to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), he was arrested after analysing the facts and evidence collected during the investigation in the banking fraud case.
He has been accused of misusing the loan by issuing loans against the directives of Nepal Rastra Bank and prevailing laws.
Dangol, 50, a permanent resident of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-27, was arrested from Thapathali of Kathmandu with the permission of Patan High Court, according to police.
A case has been registered against him under the Banking Offences and Punishment Act, 2064 BS.
