Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 14 Nepali nationals on the charge of their alleged involvement in gambling in casinos.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said that they were arrested acting on information that Nepali citizens were involved in gambling in the casinos in the Kathmandu Valley.
According to him, 13 persons were arrested from the ground casino inside Lemon Tree Hotel at Taulung of Budhanilkantha municipality-1 and one from Mahajong Casino located in Soaltimode of Kathmandu metropolis-14. ”
Police confiscated Rs 190,000 in cash, 14 mobile phones of different companies, a fake Indian Aadhaar card with the name of Milan Pradhan, two driving licenses, one fake Indian voter card, three sets of CC camera DVR and an entry book from them.
