Kathmandu. Nabil Bank Limited has imparted financial literacy to more than 11,000 students under its ‘Global Money Week’ campaign. A total of 11,087 students of all seven provinces were provided financial literacy through the campaign that ran from March 16 to March 22.
This year’s Global Money Week is being celebrated with the slogan ‘Smart Money Talks’. The bank has organized orientation to students and youths on savings, investment, digital banking, financial fraud and other topics with the objective of promoting financial literacy in different parts of the country.
The bank has been conducting literacy programs through various branches. A total of 2,064 students of Koshi Province, 1,381 students of Madhesh Province, 2,608 students of Bagmati Province, 1,278 students of Gandaki Province, 1,338 students of Lumbini Province, 1,504 students of Karnali Province and 914 students of Sudurpaschim Province were benefited under the campaign.
The bank has also been producing and publishing various financial literacy related materials to further broaden its financial literacy campaign. Nabil Bank Limited is the leading commercial bank of Nepal.
