Kathmandu. Shangri-La Development Bank has conducted a Financial Literacy Program for people with different abilities. A total of 40 people with different abilities participated in the program organized in Kathmandu on March 22 in coordination with Nepal Association of the Deaf.
In the program, trainer Binod Narsingh Shrestha imparted training on income, savings, financial security, transaction with banks, digital literacy, smart money, investment, return and risk. Sign language interpreters Uma Poudel and Prakash Maharjan facilitated the program. At the conclusion of the program, President of National Federation of the Deaf Nepal, Santosh KC said that the program was very useful and said that the program was working with banks and financial institutions for various useful trainings in the financial sector.
