Kathmandu. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned Israel’s continued attacks on Palestinians and their property in the West Bank.

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement that Israel’s attacks in the region “almost daily” have resulted in the deaths and injuries of innocent Palestinians, loss of property and displacement.

“Israeli settlements in the region and their associated infrastructure have no legal validity and are set up in violation of international law, including UN resolutions,” the spokesperson said.

UN Secretary-General Guterres called on relevant authorities to “immediately de-escalate” the situation in the West Bank and end attacks on civilians and their property.
