Palhinanna. Maheshpur Customs Office has not been able to collect revenue as per target for six months. Of the target of collecting Rs 123 million revenue by mid-March of the current fiscal year 2082/83, only 106 million 433 i.e. 86 percent revenue has been collected.

Chief of the Customs Office Bikash Upadhyay said that the office is effortful to meet the target of 14 per cent revenue collection in remaining four months. A total of Rs 164,597 revenue was collected in July, Rs 159,11,542 in August, Rs 191,953 in September, Rs 87,25,297 in October, Rs 123,98,636 in December and Rs 13,945,584 in February.

Similarly, Rs 1,83,32,683 revenue was collected in the month of December and Rs 169,30,141 in the month of January.
