Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said the Nepali Congress would take initiatives to connect the people of Nepali origin living across the globe with Nepal.
During a meeting with a delegation including Association of Nepali Origin (ANO) President Dilli Adhikari, Vice President Sushil Kumar Panta, General Secretary Chudamani Bhattarai and Board of Trustees Om Raj Gurung on Thursday evening, President Thapa said that the NC has tried to include the people of Nepali origin in its election manifesto.
ANCO President Adhikari said that Nepal should formulate Nepali-friendly laws for the development and prosperity of Nepal. He also informed that ANO is active in the campaign of connecting Nepalis across the world through Nepali culture and culture. Senior Advocate Sushil Kumar Panta, Vice President of ANO, said that the government and political parties should bring appropriate programs to connect the minds of Nepalis from all over the world through Nepaliness.
Nepali Congress central member Ajaya Babu Shiwakoti and President of Nepal Federation of Democratic Disabled Madhav Chamlagain were also present at the meeting.
In the memorandum submitted to President Thapa, the ANO has urged the government to raise a strong voice for the rescue of hundreds of thousands of Nepalis and for the arrangement of proper employment. “We are confident that the President and the Nepali Congress will take appropriate steps in this regard,” the letter reads. At the same time, we would like to draw the attention of the President towards the need to raise a strong voice in the challenging task of providing them proper employment. ”

ANO General Secretary Chudamani Bhattarai said that the NRNA has not been able to accommodate the Nepalese origin and Nepali origin living in different countries and the need of the hour is to connect the intellectual, economic and social capabilities of the Nepalis of Nepali origin and ethnicity with Nepal in social, economic and cultural terms.
Association of Nepali Origin (ANO) has started as a common campaign of people of Nepali origin.
