Kathmandu. The production of 69 MW Marsyangdi Hydropower Center based in Abukhaireni rural municipality-4 of Tanahu district has declined. According to Kapildev Manjan, chief of the hydropower station, only 42 MW has been generated due to decrease in the flow of water in the river due to dry season.
“As the water level in the river is low, the production decreases during the daytime,” he said, adding, “But we are reserving water during the day and generating 70 to 72 MW of electricity to meet the demand in the evening and morning peak hours.”TAG_OPEN_span_7 ‘
