Kathmandu. This is the first time that the private sector has met the new government with the appointment of Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle. In a meeting with the private sector, Finance Minister Dr Wagle said that the private sector will no longer be forced to pay bribes, stand in queues for work and get locked up.
He said this during a meeting with the representatives of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on Monday. “Increase investment, increase employment, build the country, I have not come here to take bribe, I will not give food to anyone. I have come to turn the ship of economy and take the country to a new pace,” he said.
“The private sector will no longer suffer, we are your companions. Now there is no need to pay bribes, no more standing in queues, no more people from the private sector. He says, “We will now go to financial penalties for financial dishonesty.” Industrialists don’t have to be imprisoned. ’
He said that he expects that the private sector will not be dishonest while becoming a partner of the state. “We are ruthless if someone commits intentional dishonesty. ” he says.
