Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has implemented merit-based transfer and posting system for the first time. This transfer, made as per the ministerial decision, has now started a new practice of determining postings keeping in mind the performance of the employees and the merit received.

According to the decision of Monday, the ‘merit-based selection’ method has been adopted for posting after promotion. According to this, the employees who get the first place in the merit list get the opportunity to choose their favorite posting. The second place finisher will choose one of the remaining positions, then the third will choose from the rest.

In this process, the employees at the end of the merit list have to go to the places that are not selected by others and the rest of the places.
