Kathmandu. The 1029th meeting of the Board of Directors of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has concluded.

The

meeting was presided over by Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha.

The board of directors of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has reviewed the performance evaluation of Hitendra Dev Shakya, Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

Similarly, the meeting also decided to provide employment to the members of the families of martyrs of the Jenji movement of September 7 and 24.

The decision was made to provide employment to the members of the families of the martyrs who were exempted in accordance with point no 11 of the Work Procedure 2082 and the Nepal Gazette (Volume 75, Extra 32, November 32, 2082 BS) relating to providing relief to the injured people of the Jenji agitation of September 7 and 24.

The NRA has already forwarded the process to provide employment to 27 martyr families.

The 8 martyred families are Rojit Shrestha Banasthali, Ambika Bishwakarma of Udayapur, Sumitra Mahat of Sindhupalchowk, Shital Poudel, Mausam Kulung of Sankhuwasabha, Parbati Adhikari of Sarlahi, Hemanti Bista of Bajhang and Manju Poudel of Lamjung.
