Kathmandu. The ‘Nabil Free Burn Treatment Camp’ is being organized by Province Hospital, Surkhet with technical assistance of Nabil Bank from April 10 to April 11. According to the bank, counseling, treatment and surgery services will be provided to the poor and economically weak citizens who are facing chronic problems due to burnout.
The bank expects that around 50 burn victims will benefit from the camp being conducted in Surkhet. According to the bank, the patients who come to the camp with complicated problems will be referred to Kirtipur Hospital in Kathmandu and arrangements will be made for free treatment.
The free camps will also be conducted in Janakpur and Birgunj of Lumbini Province and Madhes Province. Before this, 65 burn patients received free treatment from the first camp held in Dhangadhi from February 26 to 28.
Of them, 20 were referred to Seti Provincial Hospital while 18 patients with complications were referred to Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital. In the camp, those with burns on one part of the body attached to another and fingers stuck will get free medical treatment.
People who are born with lip palate (above the tongue inside the mouth), those with joined fingers at birth, those with excess and those with injuries can also seek advice.
Burn victims need immediate and special care. However, the victims do not get quality treatment on time due to the lack of a burn treatment center in their own place. According to the bank, the camp has been organized in an effort to improve the lives of people suffering from burns by treating them. Nabil Bank Limited is the leading commercial bank of Nepal.
