Kathmandu. The Zamzam brothers, who started their journey from a small business of electronic goods in Dubai, have arrived in Nepal. Muhammad Shakur and Abdul Ghafoor, popularly known as ‘Big Bhai’ and ‘Little Bhai’ on social media, have come to Nepal with the aim of promoting their brand of perfume ‘Zamzam Attar’ and expanding the Nepali market.
With its arrival in Nepal, Zamzam Perfume has formally expanded its presence in the Nepali market. The company has started selling various types of perfumes through its official platform in Nepal. According to the company, the perfume is suitable for men, women and all age groups.
The Zamzam brothers’ visit to Nepal is not just limited to fan meets. Their visit is seen as a strategy to promote brands, collaborate with social media influencers and expand new markets.
According to the information made public by them, a special meeting with fans will be organized on Saturday (August 8) at 12 noon at Civil Mall in Kathmandu. The event will also include a press conference and a special fan meet at The Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu.
from electronic shop to global digital identity
Zamzam’s business journey began in 2013 in the United Arab Emirates. Zamzam Electronics, founded by four brothers, including Mirza Farooq Beg, Rauf Beg, Abdul Ghafoor and Muhammad Shakoor, was initially focused on the business of electronic goods.
But in recent years, the company’s identity has not been limited to business. Abdul Ghafoor and Muhammad Shakoor’s brotherly videos, humorous presentations, and social media content depicting the family way of life made them internationally popular.
The company claims that both brothers have more than 100 million followers on various social media platforms. They are now using this huge digital reach to expand the market for their products.
From social media to subscribers
The hallmark of the Zamzam brothers’ business model is to directly link the popularity built on social media to the product. Rather than spending big on traditional advertising, they have adopted a strategy of transforming their own digital community into a market.
At a time when there is increasing competition between international brands, local manufacturers and online businesses in the perfume and personal beauty products market in Nepal, Zamzam seems to have adopted a different style. A strategy of building an audience first and then converting that audience into customers can help brands become known in a short period of time.
According to analysts, fan meet, media interactions, and collaboration with social media influencers during the visit to Nepal can help Zamzam Attar to establish itself faster in the Nepali market.
However, long-term success will depend on product quality, distribution network and customer trust. In this sense, the visit of the Zamzam brothers to Nepal is not only a visit by two well-known social media personalities but also an example of a modern business strategy that has transformed digital popularity into business success.
