. A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla and Justice Megh Raj Pokharel was hearing the case filed by Deuba’s faction on the dispute over the legitimacy of the Nepali Congress.
The Deuba faction had earlier filed a case against the Election Commission’s decision on January 18. Similarly, another case has been filed on April 26 against the incumbent leadership who had fixed the date for the general convention. A division bench of Justices Malla and Pokharel is hearing both the cases.
A division bench of Justices Binod Sharma and Meghraj Pokharel had last heard the case on March 1. The bench said that the case could not be heard.
