. The ‘Zero Remaining File Campaign’ is being launched from Monday to stop the tendency of delaying decisions by unnecessarily stacking files including initial comments in government offices at various levels and tables.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the campaign is to be launched in all government offices in order to minimize the situation of files to be unnecessarily sent to the higher level and service flow will be affected.
For this, the government has already released the ‘Zero Remaining File Week Campaign Operation Guideline-2082’. The objective of the campaign is to ensure that the files in the current state do not remain stuck for an indefinite period, the responsibility should be clear and the matter should be resolved on time whether the work will be done or not. The campaign will run until April 7.
According to the guidelines, files that have been stalled for more than three, seven days or 15 days will have to be automatically reviewed. This campaign has been launched so that a system should be developed to resolve the issues that can be decided from the concerned level without unnecessarily sending them to the higher level.
