. The Centre for Education and Human Resource Development under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has sought details of schools integrated and newly established in course of implementation of 100 agendas related to governance reforms of the government.
The Centre has sent a letter to all the local levels asking for details on the issues of school education that fall in the 100-point agenda of the Council of Ministers decision on March 27. The Centre has asked the local levels to collect details of the schools adjusted and established on the basis of the changing population dynamics, geographical remoteness, number of students and distance, among other things by carrying out scientific mapping through the use of geographical information system.
Centre’s Director Dr Shyam Prasad Acharya said details of the students providing scholarships to the private sector schools and public trustees have also been demanded in accordance with the Compulsory and Free Education Act-2075 BS.
Similarly, in case of children who have not been able to obtain birth registration certificates due to various reasons, arrangements should be made for admitting them to the school on the basis of the details attested by the local level.
