Makwanpur. The Hetauda Cement Industry has halted production from this morning citing shortage of coal.
The industry was brought into operation only a month ago. The company has already called for bids to purchase 3,000 metric tonnes of coal.
Bikash Shrestha, assistant manager of Hetauda Cement Factory, said that the coal will arrive in 2 weeks. He said that the time of cement production will be determined only on the basis of the test results of coal.
