Attitude of private sector only for profit should be changed: Chair Dhakal

Kanchanpur. President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has called for change in the attitude towards the private sector.

Inaugurating the 34th annual general meeting of the Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, he stressed the need to change the perception that the private sector is only for making profit.TAG_OPEN_div_14

“The private sector contributes more than 80 per cent to the GDP and contributes to every infrastructure development,” Dhakal said, adding, “The private sector is also creating the highest number of jobs.”TAG_OPEN_div_12 Stating that there was immense potential for tourism in the far-western region, he said he made investment in this sector to promote tourism and create employment opportunities.
