Parsa. In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, revenue of Rs 60.38 billion has been collected from the import of petroleum products. In the same period of the last fiscal year, revenue was Rs 57.53 billion.

Information Officer at the Birgunj Customs Office, Udaya Singh Bista, said that the amount was deposited in the state treasury after importing five types of petroleum products worth Rs 148.16 billion from the Birgunj customs point in the review period.

A total of 808,745 kilolitres diesel, 359,846 kilolitres petrol and 224,875,266 kilolitres of LPG were imported in the review period.
