Kathmandu. There has been a slight improvement in the stock market. The index that measures the market increased by 7.73 points to sit at 2,796.43 points.

A total of 1,09,28,617 units of shares of 351 companies were traded worth Rs 4.74 billion. The prices of 157 companies increased while the prices of 102 companies declined.

Except for others, the sub-indices of all other groups have increased. Share prices of 4 companies have hit the positive circuit in the day. The prices of Corporate Development Bank, Palpa Cement, Shikhar Power Development Company and City Hotel were in the positive circuit.

Reliance Spinning Mills Company is in the first position on the basis of transaction amount. The company’s turnover was Rs 30,74,55,441. Similarly, Akhukhola Hydropower Company and Solu Hydropower Company have secured the second and third positions.
