Kathmandu. The government of Nepal has decided to accept financial assistance from the World Bank (WB) for the purpose of replacing conventional boilers with electronic pollers, providing concessional loans to industries and enhancing air quality measurement capacity.
The government has decided to accept a concessional loan of 52 million US dollars and additional 5 million US dollars in grant from the World Bank. The amount will be spent for modernization of industrial zone, reduction of environmental pollution and promotion of sustainable development.
