Presenting the policy and programmes in a joint session of the federal parliament on Friday, President Ram Chandra Poudel said that reliable and competitive air service would be expanded and expanded through operation and modernization of international airports.
It is stated in the policy and programme that structural reforms would be made in the civil aviation sector, participation of private sector would be expanded and international safety standards would be implemented.
Stating that the tourist visa service would be fully integrated into the online system, the government said that the waiting time of passengers would be reduced by installing the e-gate system at the international airport.
