Kathmandu. The Everest Expedition route has been opened for the spring season of this year. The route has been opened after the rope was hung from the Everest base camp to the peak.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation on December 2 had given the responsibility to the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee and Mountaineering Association Nepal for the management of the climbing route in Mt Everest, Lhotse and Nupse mountains.
According to the Department of Tourism, the construction of the climbing route from the base camp of the world’s highest peak to the peak was done at 10:25 am on Wednesday.
According to the Department, eight icefall doctors from Base Camp to Camp 2 and 11 guides from Camp 2 to the top are involved in tying ropes.
