Kathmandu. The Supreme Court (SC) has issued a show-cause order against the arrest of Jyoti Prakash Pandey, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Investment Mega Bank. Pandey’s wife Niru Dahal had filed a writ petition at the apex court on Tuesday.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested Pandey from Sindhuli on Sunday night on the charge of cheating and criminal breach of trust.

Dahal’s wife Dahal has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court challenging Pandey’s arrest. A single bench of Supreme Court Justice Abdul Aziz Muslim was scheduled for hearing the petition on Thursday. The hearing in the case is now over.
