Co-operative Bank promoters unopposed in Province 6, UML clashes in Bagmati Province

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Directors of the National Cooperative Bank (NCB) have been elected unopposed in Province 6 for the election to the Board of Directors and Account Supervision Committee.

In Bagmati Province, the UML and the UML are set to go to the polls.

The election for the board of directors representing Bagmati Province will be held on May 9. Bagmati Province: 3 political parties have announced common candidates for the post of governor of Bagmati Province. The three parties have jointly announced Paritosh Poudel as the candidate for the post of director of Bagmati Province.

Also speaking at the program organized to announce the candidacy of the cooperatives, Nepali Congress central committee member Gita Satyal, Nepal Communist Party (UML) leaders Keshav Badal, Khagaraj Adhikari and Dr Khem Prasad Lohani and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) secretariat member Leela Mani Pokhrel expressed their commitment to announce common candidates to run the cooperative campaign as per the norms and values of cooperatives in the present situation.

Poudel and Ram Sharan Sharma Ghimire are vying for the post of Bagmati Province director. Both are UML. The chairman will be elected from the seven elected directors, so there is competition for the post of director.
