Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC has demanded that the government make public the reports of the Karki Commission and the Human Rights Commission.

The government had formed a probe commission under the coordination of Gauri Bahadur Karki after the Jenji agitation on September 23 and 24. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has also prepared a report on the incident. In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmaker KC demanded that both the reports be investigated immediately.

Why has the report of the National Human Rights Commission prepared under the leadership of Lily Thapa not yet made public to study and investigate the violent incidents during the Genji movement? He asked.
