Kathmandu. Non-Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA) Hong Kong Youth Forum has organized a blood donation program in Hong Kong.

The program was organized with the slogan “Let’s Donate Blood, Save Lives” with the technical support of HKRCBTS.

According to the organizers, there was a significant participation of the Nepali community in the social service program. Representatives of various organizations were present in the blood donation program aimed at saving human lives.

NCC Hong Kong President Anu Rai, Vice President Kabita Gurung, Youth Coordinator Manoj Gautam, Hong Kong District Council member Aruna Gurung, President of The Nepali Association Hong Kong Pradip Thapa, former President of Hong Kong Nepali Federation Rita Gurung and NRNA ICC Vice President Radhika Gurung were present in the program.

On the first day of the blood donation program, 40-45 people donated blood. The remaining willing blood donors will be registered for blood donation on May 24, 2026.

Stressing the need of giving continuity to such humanitarian work, coordinator Gautam expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the organizations, volunteers and participants who helped to make the program a success. He expressed the commitment to continue such social service programs in the days to come.
