Myagdi. In the current fiscal year 2082/83, 17 projects have been implemented in Myagdi, Mustang and Parbat at a cost of Rs 120 million.

According to the project office, contract agreements have been signed with various companies for the construction of three projects in Parbat, four in Myagdi and 10 in Mustang.

Narjung Gurung, an engineer at the project, said that the project had signed the contract in January, March and March, 2082 BS with an aim to complete all the 17 projects within the current fiscal year.

“The contractors of all the projects that have signed the contract have been mobilized in the working area”, he said, adding that the construction of all the projects that were contracted till July 19 is going on in full swing. ”

A landslide protection project at a cost of Rs 22.569 million has been signed for Raghuganga rural municipality-4 and Rs 9.919 million for Mangalaghat settlement conservation project in Beni municipality-7.

A contract agreement has been signed for Rs 8,744,982 for Ghattekhola Conservation Project of Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 and Rs 1916,760 for Annapurna-4 Gharap Settlement Conservation Project.

According to the Project Office, contract agreements have been signed for Rs 191.43 million for the conservation of settlement at Kagbeni in Waragung Mukti Chhetra-4 of Mustang, Rs 7,844,982 for the conservation of Larjung Khola in Thasang Rural Municipality-2, Rs 2,682,045 for Lupra Village Conservation Plan and Rs 2,597,103 for Tirigaun apple orchard conservation project. The Marfa, Jhong, Dhakarjung, Jhong-Falak, Chusang and Jharkot irrigation projects of Gharpajhong Rural Municipality of Mustang have been implemented through the office.

A contract agreement has been signed for the construction of a multipurpose pond at Lamaykhola of Phalebas municipality-3 in Parbat district, Rs 1,552,575 for the irrigation project of Upper Birta Majhi of Kushma municipality-10 and Rs 9,178,920 for the construction of a multipurpose pond at Phalebas municipality-3 of Parbat district.
