. Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta and Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus held a meeting at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation today.

Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, said that the meeting took place in course of 79th session of World Health Assembly (WHO) being organised by World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland.TAG_OPEN_div_10

Minister Mehta said that the meeting with WHO Director General Tedros was very fruitful.TAG_OPEN_div_8 On the occasion, Director General Dr Tedros said that WHO was always committed to work and cooperate with Nepal, Dr Adhikari shared.

Earlier, Minister Mehta held bilateral meetings with his Indian and Chinese counterparts.TAG_OPEN_div_6 Minister Mehta is leading a three-member delegation to attend the meeting.
