Kathmandu. The Sabrina Hotel located at Ganesh Chowk in Budhanilkantha will now be operated as ‘Tribe Kathmandu’.

Sabrina Hotels and Tribe Hotels had signed an agreement in New Delhi, the capital of India. As per the agreement, Sabrina Hotel Tribe Kathmandu will be operated under the name ‘Sabrina Hotel Tribe Kathmandu’.

Tribe is the world-renowned French hotel group Acor Lifestyle brand. There are 27 hotels under the Tribe brand around the world.

Nirajan Thapa, chairman of Sabrina Hotel, said, “The agreement with Accor has brought the Tribe brand to Nepal. Thapa expressed the belief that the hotel would now become a landmark lifestyle destination.

Currently, the hotel is being upgraded to a five-star hotel. Thapa said that after the upgrade, there will be 110 rooms. According to Thapa, after the upgrade, there will be 3 restaurants in the hotel, which will be the biggest rooftop restaurant in Nepal so far.

The hotel has facilities like swimming pool, health club, spa, gym and other facilities. The hotel is more than 10 kilometers away from Tribhuvan International Airport.

The hotel is preparing to bring an initial public offering (IPO). Presently, the issued capital of the company stands at Rs 1.22 billion. The company is preparing to launch an IPO of Rs 47.04 crore.
