Kathmandu. Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Company has revised the dividend announced to distribute dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. The microfinance company has announced that it will no longer distribute dividends to its shareholders.

The meeting of the board of directors of the microfinance company held on May 24 has decided not to distribute any dividend by modifying the previous dividend proposal. The meeting of the board of directors of the microfinance company held on February 29 had decided to distribute 10 percent dividend comprising 9.5 percent bonus shares and 0.50 percent cash dividend.

According to the microfinance company, due to the regulatory provisions and mandatory adjustments in the financial indicators in order to further strengthen the financial report, the proposed dividend cannot be kept intact.
