Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Office (PPO) has blacklisted 11 contractors and suppliers for not completing the contracts on time and delaying the contracts.

The office said it has been blacklisted as per Clause 63 (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063.

The blacklisted companies will not be allowed to participate in the procurement process of any public entity for three years.

The office has blacklisted Raman Construction Pvt. Ltd. and Patel Engineering Limited (Joint Venture) of Mumbai for 3 years. The main people of the company are Raman Mahato and Rupin Pravinbhai Patel from India.

Similarly, on the recommendation of Postal Highway Directorate, Planning Office, Itahari, Gauri Parbati Construction Service has been blacklisted for 2 years. Ram Kumar Thapa, Basu Dev Upreti of Dev & Sawyer Construction and Bhabesh Bohara of Bhumi Infrastructure.

Similarly, Friends Construction, Koteshwor has been blacklisted for 1 year and 6 months. The blacklisted companies are Rhythm Construction, Panna/Taralaxmi JV, KM Construction, Tech and Sapana Construction, ABC Construction Service, Gayatri Maa Construction, Bioplus Medico Pvt Ltd and Bhumiradha Builders.
