Kathmandu. A joint meeting of the Federal Parliament has begun.

In today’s meeting, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the budget for the coming fiscal year 2083/84.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar some time ago approved the presentation of the budget statement to the Federal Parliament.

As per the constitutional provision, the government has to unveil the budget for the new fiscal year on May 29.
