Kathmandu. The government has allocated Rs 17.64 billion for the construction of Kathmandu-Tarai-Madhes fast track.

Presenting the annual budget estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2083/84 in the joint meeting of the federal parliament today, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle said the government has set targets to construct 40 bridges and 5.4 kilometers tunnel in the upcoming fiscal year.

The construction of the link road of the expressway will be started in the next fiscal year, according to the budget statement.
