Makwanpur. MAKWANPUR: An engineer and a jeep driver died when a jeep met with an accident at Bhimphedi rural municipality-8, Baidmar in Makwanpur district last night.

Engineer Surya Yadav and jeep driver Bodhraj Budhathoki died in the accident.

The deceased have been identified as Engineer Yadav of Pacharauta Municipality-7, Bara and jeep driver Budhathoki of Kamalamai Municipality-9, Sindhuli, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhav Prasad Kafle.

A joint team of Nepal Police and Nepal Army deployed at the base camp of the Nijgadh-Kathmandu Expressway rescued them from the accident and airlifted them to Hetauda Hospital for treatment.
