Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started deliberations on 101-point policies and programmes presented by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) in 101 points of various sectors for the coming fiscal year.

Acting Mayor of the metropolis Sunita Dangol presented the policy and programme for the fiscal year 2083/084 on Sunday.

In the 19th session of the municipal assembly held at the City Hall, President Bhandari presented the policy and programme continuity with the long-term vision, objectives and plan of the metropolis and the policy of addressing the remaining multi-year programme in the current fiscal year 2082/083 BS.

Expecting active participation and participation in the implementation of the policies and programmes, she said the goal would be achieved only through inter-government coordination and partnership.

The policies and programmes have incorporated good governance and governance arrangements, social development, education, youth and sports, technology-based accessible health service, environment and sanitation, revenue mobilization, urban planning, infrastructure and urban development, heritage, culture and tourism, communications and information technology and consumer welfare.
