Kathmandu. Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari has said that the Hetauda Textile and Butwal Yarn Industry will come into operation this year.

Responding to the queries raised during the discussion on the topic of appropriation of the Ministry of Industry under the Appropriation Bill-2083 BS in the meeting of the House of Representatives today, Minister Bhandari said cotton farming would be taken along for the operation of the textile and yarn industry.

“The Hetauda textile industry, which is a sick industry, comes into operation first. Textile and yarn industries and cotton farming should be promoted simultaneously. These industries will come into operation this year,” Minister Kumari said. She said that the process of blending ethanol in petroleum products has already started.
